Electro-Mechanical Lifting Mechanism

The Electro-Mechanical Lifting Mechanism is a comprehensive elevation system housed in a dedicated enclosure measuring 2250mm x 980mm x 1310mm. Engineered for total weight management, it supports a maximum antenna payload of 150 kg, while ensuring the combined weight of the antenna, mast, and lifting mechanism remains under the 600 kg tactical limit for integrated mobile platforms.
Operating across a vertical range from a minimum height of 400mm to a maximum extension of 2100mm, the mechanism achieves full stroke in approximately 45 seconds. The system maintains high structural integrity with an allowable angle of deflection restricted to ±0.5°, while supporting rapid rotational performance with a maximum speed of 60 rpm and an angular acceleration of 3.14 rad/sec².
Precision movement is managed through a synchronized multi-lead screw architecture, ensuring perfectly simultaneous rotation and movement across the lifting platform. This mechanical logic provides robust self-locking capabilities, allowing the payload to be securely fixed at any height within the total lift stroke, providing mission-critical stability without the need for additional power consumption.

Technical Specifications
| Sl. No. | Description / Parameter | Specification / Value |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Type of Mechanism | Electromechanical |
| 2 | Max Height of Lifting Platform from Base | 2100 mm |
| 3 | Min Height of Lifting Platform from Base | 400 mm |
| 4 | Time Required for Extension & Retraction | ~45 sec |
| 5 | Max Dimension of Lifting Mechanism with Enclosure & Door | 2250 mm × 980 mm × 1310 mm (H × W × L) (Indicated in Annexure) |
| 6 | Allowable Angle of Deflection | ±0.5° |
| 7 | Weight of Antenna / Total Weight for Lifting / Total Allowed Weight of System (Antenna + Mast + Lifting Mechanism) | Max. 150 kgs / Weight of antenna + Weight of mast structure / < 600 kgs |
| 8 | Max Rotational Speed / Max Angular Acceleration | 60 rpm / 3.14 rad/sec² |
| 9 | Self Locking | The lifting mechanism shall have the capability of self locking and it must be capable of locking at any height along its total lift height / stroke. If two or more lead screws are used in the lifting mechanism, extensive care must be taken to make sure that all the lead screws operate simultaneously in synchronization with each other i.e both the lead screws must rotate simultaneously. |
